ORIGINAL STORY:

At least six people have reportedly been killed in an explosion in Pakistan's Peshawar region on Tuesday.

Some social media posts by locals suggested that there may be many casualties. The blast took place in Peshawar's Karkhano market, Pakistani media have reported. 

According to Dawn,  6 security personnel from the Khyber Khasadar Force were killed in the Peshawar blast. It is said to be a suicide bomb attack. 

Pakistan has been hit by several terror attacks in recent days, with two blasts in Quetta killing 20 people. 

On Monday, a bomb blast killed at least five security personnel in Quetta, while an explosion at a polio vaccination centre killed 15 people last week.
