Amritsar, Oct 06 (ANI): With tensions prevailing on the Indo-Pak border, Pakistan on Monday denied exchange of sweets with India on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. According to official sources, during a late evening flag meeting between the sector commanders of the BSF and Pakistan Rangers on Sunday, the other side refused to fix a proper time for the ceremony to be held today. BSF DIG MF Farooqui said that the force will launch a protest over the same and further actions or developments will take place accordingly. The exchange of sweets between the border guarding troops of the two countries is an old and traditional gesture between the two sides which is aimed to show goodwill and to maintain harmony on both sides.
