The Season 2 of "Outlander" will come to an end in July, but Jamie and Claire are in no way in a safe place. They might have won the battle at Prestonpans, but the war is not over yet, and the upcoming episode titled "Vengeance is Mine" will see the return of a familiar face.

The familiar face, according to many, is Captain Black Jack Randall. But as readers of Diana Gabaldon's "Dragonfly in Amber" already know, he isn't the only familiar face returning before the season wraps up. Season 2 episode 11 will see Claire being separated from Jamie and taken to a stately home for safety. There, she comes across Mary and the Duke of Sandringham, and when the Duke summons his valet to the room, she realises that he was the man who attacked her and Mary in Paris.

But Claire won't be a prisoner in the Duke of Sandringham's house for long. Jamie comes to the rescue and Mary too goes with them. The Duke is killed by Murtagh and Jamie kills Albert Danton, the Duke's valet.

Sam Heughan, the actor who plays Jamie, recently opened up to IGN regarding the Season 2 finale, and said viewers are in store for a lot of surprises. "Ultimately the show has always been about relationships. Not only is that the climax of history, but it's also the climax of the relationships that are happening at the time. It's all doomed, and we can't stop history from happening," Heughan said of the upcoming finale. "[Season 2] certainly has a climax. [Showrunner Ron Moore] has also got some surprises."

The synopsis for "Vengeance is Mine" reads: "Claire and the Highlanders are sent north after the Jacobite leaders decide to halt their march on London. A band of redcoats makes trouble for the Scots, leading to a most unexpected reunion for Claire."

"Outlander" airs Saturdays on Starz.
