Vishakhapatnam, Oct 12 (ANI): The outer edge of cyclone Hudhud made landfall at Kailasagiri in Vizag on Sunday. The cyclonic wind has recorded a speed of 180KmPH in the port city. The Indian Meteorological Department rated Hudhud as a very severe cyclonic storm that could pack gusts of 195 km/h and dump more than 24.5 cm of rain when it makes landfall. Meanwhile, residents in Visakhapatnam accused state government in Andhra Pradesh for lack of preparations. A resident Nageshwar alleged that claims made by government that everything was normal was false. Authorities have been stocking cyclone shelters with dry rations, water purification tablets and generators.
