Salman Khan heaved a sigh of relief after the Bombay High Court on 8 May granted him bail and suspended the rigorous five-year jail sentence handed to him by the Mumbai Sessions Court. 

Salman, who had been in an emotional strain ever since the verdict was announced, has now resumed shooting for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

The superstar, who was shooting in Kashmir before the verdict, reached the valley on Tuesday to complete the last schedule of the film. He will be shooting for an action sequence over the week.

The "Kick" star's co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan had reached the location before the actor so as to start off with the remaining shots, reported Bollywood Life

Post wrapping up the final shoot, the actor will immediately head to look into the post-production work of Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Rantan Dhan Payo" also starring Sonam Kapoor.

Later, he will also look into the post-production work of his production venture, "Hero", starring newcomers Sooraj Pacholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, daughter of Sunil Shetty.

Director Kabir took to his twitter handle to announce that Salman was back on the sets in Kashmir.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is based on the love story of a Muslim man (played by Salman) and Hindu Brahmin woman (played by Kareena). The story also has a little Pakistani girl who loses her way on the India-Pakistan border and the "Bodyguard" star takes up the responsibility to re-unite her with her family in Pakistan.

Besides Salman and Kareena, "Bajrangi Bhajaan" also has Nawazuddin Siddiqui in important an role. The trailer of the film will be attached to Kangana Ranaut's "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which is releasing on 22 May.
