Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo is reportedly gearing up to launch the compact version of the flagship rotating camera handset dubbed as N1 Mini in India later this month.
The company flaunted the upcoming phone Oppo N1 Mini on its official social network platform Twitter.
Oppo N1 Mini, which made its debut in June sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS LCD screen and runs on Android OS (with Oppo's custom ColorOS UI), 1.6GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 305 graphics engine, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 2,140 mAh battery.
Like its bigger sibling Oppo N1, it too boasts the rotating 13.0-megapixel camera on top, thus eliminating the need for a second camera on the front and also enabling users to have full HD-quality video chat. The camera features HDR, F2.0 aperture and can snap 24.0-megapixel quality picture via company's 'Super Zoom' technology.
Last month, the company slashed the price of 5.9-inch Oppo N1 to ₹32,990 from ₹37,990 (MRP) in India (view report, here), so considering the specifications of the new compact variant – N1 Mini is expected to be priced around ₹25,000-₹28,000.
Once released, the new Oppo N1 Mini will be competing with Motorola's Moto X, Gionee Elife 7 Mini, Xiaomi Mi3 and domestic branded Octa-core based devices such Canvas Knight, Intex Aqua Octa and others.
