Jeethu Joseph back with a thriller
Mohanlal's "Drishyam" proved the capability of director Jeethu Joseph as the movie was remade into four languages owing to the tremendous response it garnered from the audience. "Oozham" is the next directorial venture of Jeethu in thriller genre and the flick has already raised expectations of the audience from the Prithviraj-starrer. However, the director has claimed that "Oozham" is not a suspense thriller and asked the audience not to compare it with the Mohanlal-starrer.
Like any superstar movies, the films starring Prithviraj are also among the most anticipated projects; thanks to the stardom the actor enjoys with his recent superhits "Ennu Ninte Moideen," "Amar Akbar Anthony" and "Paavada", among many others. The success of these movies have paved the way for Prithviraj to become one of the busiest actors of Mollywood with more than six movies lined up for future releases. The upcoming movie also marks the reunion of Jeethu with Prithviraj after the commercially hit thriller "Memories", released in 2013.
"Oozham" has Rasna Pavithran and "Ayaal Njanalla"-fame Divya Pillai in the female lead roles. It also stars veteran filmmaker and actor Balachandra Menon, Seetha, Neeraj Madhav, Pasupathy, V Jayaprakash and Kishore Sathya in significant roles.
