Chinese smartphone-maker Huawei has reportedly slashed price of flagship smartphone Honor 6 in India.

Honor 6 is now being sold for ₹16,999, which is ₹3,000 less than the original price of ₹19,999 on Flipkart (HERE). Though there is no word from the company about the sudden discount offer on the device, many believe it to be Huawei's marketing ploy to level the playing field against the much-popular Chinese peers OnePlus One and Xiaomi Mi4, which also received price cuts just a few weeks ago.

Earlier this year, Honor 6 was a popular choice among Indian consumers, who were tired of waiting for an opportunity to get their hands on OnePlus One and Xiaomi Mi4 via flash sale. But with recent price cuts on the latter devices, it fell off the radar. Now, Honor 6 is back in the reckoning.

All three devices boast of top-notch hardware like 3GB RAM, 13mp camera, 3,000mAh battery and a few other features.
