Comparing the new case to the fictional character from the popular Game of Thrones series, Jon Snow, OnePlus says it is "rough, yet charming, and one-of-a-kind (and definitely not dead)".
"Maybe you know someone who just went out and bought the latest iPhone. Maybe you were this close to getting them to see your side of things. This is your chance to leave your exasperation at the door and just show them what they're missing," OnePlus said in a blog post.
OnePlus is right in saying the Sandstone case for iPhone 6 and 6s represents something bigger. Clearly, it is one way to bring brand awareness among Apple fans. The signature sandstone material used in the new iPhone case is the same as the one found on the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 smartphones. And, it offers protection and better grip for the slippery iPhone models.
OnePlus phone case for iPhone 6 and 6s cleverly turns an iPhone into one of its own. The case covers the Apple logo and instead features a OnePlus logo. There are sensible openings for the bottom-facing speaker grille, audio jack and charging port, power button on the right, volume rockers and mute buttons on the left and the entire top bezel. There is a cutout for the camera on the rear that protects the bumped up module from wear and tear.
