Every smartphone enthusiast has a vague image of what OnePlus 5 might look like, but this video puts those thoughts into a clear presentation. If everything shown in the latest OnePlus 5 concept video is anything close to the real deal, the Chinese smartphone maker is looking at a grand successful launch party.

OnePlus 5 is still a month away from being officially launched, but it hasn't stopped tipsters from sharing essential details about the phone, which may well be true. From price to key specifications, we've heard a lot about the OnePlus 5 smartphone already. In a first, we get to see the OnePlus 5's design in a visual presentation rather than on paper.

The latest concept video was shared by TechDroider and it showcases the possible design of the OnePlus 5 smartphone. The video entails tiny details about the smartphone based on the rumours we have heard in the past.

But that's just a concept and little do we know whether OnePlus will take cues from it. For what it's worth, the design showcased in the video looks chic and it could put many flagship smartphones to shame. The video shows the OnePlus 5 with minimal bezels, dual rear-camera, a physical home button in a shiny black avatar. For most part, it looks like the perfected version of OnePlus X, a smartphone that did not amplify the company's image as it was supposed to.

For all we know, OnePlus has already finalised on the design on the OnePlus 5. There have even been rumours about the handset's price, which according to a listing on OppoMart, is $449 (around Rs. 28,800). At this price, the OnePlus 5 is poised to pose a serious threat to flagship models and offer a cheaper alternative to handsets like Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6, iPhone 8 and others.

For that price, OnePlus doesn't seem to be compromising on the specs at all. It is said to come with a 5.5-inch QHD 2K display, 12MP dual camera with RGB and Monochrome lenses and an 8MP front snapper for selfies.

Under the hood, it will pack a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a 3,600mAh battery with Dash Charge 2.0. With the official launch expected in June, readers should to take this bit of information with due scepticism until the company confirms it.
