The tradition continues. Ahead of the most-anticipated launch of OnePlus 3, the Chinese smartphone maker has decided to get generous and permanently slash the prices of all OnePlus smartphones. With the new pricing in effect, buyers can get the OnePlus 2, OnePlus X and OnePlus One smartphones for $50 cheaper.

"We've got good news for all OnePlus fans: starting today, we're lowering the price on all of our smartphones," the company said in an official blog post on Wednesday. "Our focus remains on providing the best possible smartphone experience for you, and what better way than this? We're all in this together, after all."

OnePlus' offer on its smartphones follows a recent price cut on OnePlus 2 64GB in February, which put the handset's cost down to $349. But now the flagship smartphone is available for just $299 on the company's official website. OnePlus One and OnePlus X Onyx are now available at $249 and $119, respectively.

OnePlus hasn't announced the price cuts in India, but we have reached out to the company for an update on when to expect the change. We will update the article when the company responds. If the previous price cuts are any indication, Indian fans can expect reduced prices on all OnePlus smartphones within a month. The international price cut for OnePlus 2 in February was followed by one in India within a month.

Besides the price cuts, OnePlus has been building a lot of hype around the launch of OnePlus 3, which is expected to happen on June 14. The company will be live streaming the event through a virtual space station it calls the Loop.

OnePlus also gave away 30,000 free Loop VR headsets for free in the United States and the United Kingdom, and will sell the VR headsets for Re. 1 in India on June 3 and June 7 exclusively via Amazon.in app. Registrations for the upcoming flash sales for its Re. 1-VR headset are open right now.
