It has been confirmed that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will pick up from where it ended in Season 1 when Saitama finally managed to defeat Boros. However, what exactly will be the plot of next season is yet to be revealed.

So far, the manga version of "One Punch Man" has been great and has received praise both from viewers and the critics. Much to the delight of the fans, the creator of manga – Murata Yusuke – has confirmed that his team has already started working on Season 2 and most probably, the fans will get to see it around November or December.

According to Ecunemical News, the anime will be loyal to the manga and might consist of some original content too. The website has stated that Season 2 will most likely follow the Hero Hunter arc and will see the debut of Garou – the most powerful villain of the series so far.

The description of Hero Hunter arc on HNGN reads:

"In the manga, Garou was Bang or Silver Fang's former disciple who eventually lost his way. What is particularly interesting is that Garou and Saitama are two sides of the same coin - just people who happen to go far beyond what humans are capable of becoming."

If the reports are true, then "One Punch Man" Season 2 is definitely going to be more thrilling and adventurous than the previous season. The protagonist of the series, Saitama, will also have a much elaborated role than before.

Besides Garou's debut, it is also rumoured that there will be a lot more tension between Saitama and Amai Mask in Season 2 that could lead to grim consequences.

As reported earlier, there won't be any time jump between two seasons contrary to the recent rumours that have surfaced on the Internet. Season 2 will immediately continue after the fight between Saitama and Lord Boros in Season 1 finale.
