Is One Direction's Niall Horan looking to settle down? He jokingly asked singer Katy Perry to marry him on Twitter.
Girl fans must have had their heart broken into a million pieces when One Direction member Niall Horan took to his Twitter account to express his love to another woman. But don't worry people! It's just a joke.
The British boy band member, who is currently touring took to his Twitter account over the weekend to ask singer Katy Perry to marry him.
"I love you @katyperry! Thank you! Ps. Will u marry me?" Horan joked.
Perry and Horan share a very cute rapport with each other that dates back to when Horan auditioned for X Factor in 2010. Perry, who was a guest judge on the show gave the then 16-year old the last vote he needed to advance into boot camp, though she told him he had to work on his vocals. Fans got to see another glimpse of this rapport when Perry kissed Horan at the MTV VMAs last year.
Perry is yet to respond to Horan's romantic proposition and it is most likely she'll be saying "yes" to a marriage proposal soon. Sadly (at least for Horan) it would be boyfriend John Mayer's proposal that Perry will be accepting.
"Everyone knows it's just a question of when John will propose," a source told Us Weekly.
The two have been dating since the summer of 2012, a few months after Perry spilt with Russell Brand, whom she was married to for 14 months. Ever since the two have been inseparable and rumor has it that they will be walking down the aisle very soon.
