Samba, Jan 05 (ANI): One BSF jawan was martyred in fresh ceasefire violations by Pakistani Rangers at Hiranagar in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. Pakistani Rangers had violated ceasefire again by targeting border posts in Kathua and Samba sectors, drawing retaliation from BSF. Scared villagers were seen running for refuge during the ceasefire violations in the area. Villagers continued to migrate to safer areas in view of the latest round of ceasefire violations by Pakistan. Over 3,500 villagers have migrated from border villages in Samba and Kathua districts. On January 3, mortar shelling by Pakistan rangers had killed two army jawans and one woman while 11 people were injured in the firing.
