American fairytale series "Once Upon a Time" is all set to take its viewers through an adventurous trip with new cast members joining the team in Season 6. The main focus of this segment will be on Evil Queen and her moves against the protagonists, including Emma Swan, Regina Mills, Snow White, Prince Charming and others.

The season will begin with the introduction of Turkish-Australian actor Deniz Akdeniz as Aladdin and "The Mummy Returns" fame Oded Fehr as Jafar. The episode, titled "The Savior", is scheduled to hit the TV screens on Sunday, September 25.

Gradually, the fans of "Once Upon a Time" might get to know more about the Evil Queen and how her mischievous moves affect Emma Swan and Regina Mills.

While Lana Parrilla believes that "The Evil Queen is another entity in itself" and the friendship between Mills and Swan will continue down that path, Jennifer Morrison stated that things will get complicated for her character.

"It's going to be complicated for Emma to navigate because she wants to believe in Regina and knows that good can win, but she also knows she needs to protect everyone she loves. It's going to be complicated like it always is," said the actress during San Diego Comic Con 2016.

Meanwhile, Pakistani-American actor Faran Tahir will join "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 as Captain Nemo, the commander of a Nautilus submarine from the popular science fiction novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea."

Sharing his excitement about the new cast members, creator Adam Horowitz stated that he is "thrilled" to introduce a classic character from one of his favourite Disney movies. Meanwhile, executive producer Edward Kitsis revealed that they are planning to explore Captain Hook's past through the new character.

"We're excited to see his mythology merge with Storybrooke's own captain — Hook [Colin O'Donohue]. If for no other reason than to see the Jolly Roger go up against a submarine," said Kitsis in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Other celebrities joining the fairytale series include Canadian actress Karen David as Princess Jasmine, "True Blood" fame Giles Matthey as Morpheus and Australian actor Craig Horner as the Count of Monte Cristo.
