"Once Upon A Time" season 5 has gone on a mid-season break after airing Episode 11, titled "Swan Song". ABC's fantasy drama won't be airing any new episode until next year. The fans can expect to catch Episode 12, titled "Souls of the Departed", on 6 March, 2016, when the show returns after a three-month-long hiatus.
Now, fans can look forward to an amazing mid-season premiere of "Once Upon A Time" season 5 as episode 12 also marks the 100th episode in this fairy tale series. And like you may have already read that co-creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis have teased that Emma along with her friends will go down to the Underworld to bring back Captain Hook, who sacrificed himself permanently to get rid of the darkness in him, Emma and all others. And there they will meet many people from their past and present.
But now, they have dropped a major clue that Captain Hook may never return back from the dead and may die harder in the Underworld. In their interview with Entertainment Weekly, the co-creators have said that there's a possibility that Emma and gang will not bring back Hook at all and she will go back to being the "bada**" that she has been in the previous seasons.
When asked whether bringing back Hook from Underworld will make way for bringing back the other from the dead too, Horowitz said, "Who said they can bring back Hook? He may die harder."
"He may die there. To be honest, he's already dead. He may rot there," added Kitsis.
But they have clearly mentioned that Emma will come back as the tough one as she has always been. "Emma is absolutely bada**. She's a tough woman," said Horowitz.
To this Kitsis added, "I've got to be honest. I feel like Emma's been pretty much badass for five seasons. I don't know what season she wasn't badass. She killed Cruella."
The synopsis of "Souls of The Departed" reads: "The quest to find Hook will begin as the town of Storybrooke becomes the underworld where everyone you thought was dead and buried, is alive and kicking!"
