Jammu, Sept 03 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met the families affected by Pakistan's ceasefire violations along the international border and promised to amend the existing compensation SRO policy. He expressed regret over the fact that solely militancy affected families get relief funds, and not the ones which also suffer due to cross-border shelling. Abdullah added whoever has borne heavy losses due to damage to their crops because of exchange of fire will also be compensated with free ration for three months. Meanwhile, Abdullah also inaugurated a multi-level parking lot in Jammu. Speaking to the mediapersons, he emphasized upon restoring dialogue with Pakistan regardless of the number of encounters that have taken place in Kashmir valley.
