We have been fans of Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black as a couple ever since the Olympic diver came out as a gay back in 2013. Both of them have been quite vocal about their love, even raising charities together and being very lovey-dovey on social media.
The couple have now declared on Instagram that they have gotten engaged, with a beautiful photo of their engagement rings in their announcement through a newspaper. Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black have been together for around three years now, and their love story has been captured online by not just the paparazzi, but also the couple themselves.
During the early days of their dating, Daley had appeared on the British talk show "The Jonathan Ross Show" where he had said that what he and Black shared was true love.
"I thought I had really likes someone before, but I had never felt the feeling of love.. and it happened and I was completely overwhelmed by it.. Like I can't get him out of my head.. like all the time," said Daley to Ross and his audiences that collectively went "awww".
Black, who is a screenwriter, director, film and television producer in Hollywood, received a similar response during a radio interview. He was asked if he would ever take part in the celebrity competition series "Splash", to which he replied, only if it is the British version, adding that he heard the host there was much cuter – obviously speaking about his boyfriend and now fiancé – Daley.
