Mumbai, Aug 24 (ANI): Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday said that the ministry is aiming to expand PNG (Piped Natural Gas) system to households to the maximum by 2022. He said that the ministry had a meeting over the same and is ready to start the works for the same in order to achieve the goal. He advocated about the system saying that the gas is more safe, economical and eco friendly. Pradhan said that the same would be tried to the maximum and is hopefully to cover 70 per cent of the household and the rest of the gap could be filled up by the LPG. He also said that post getting an idea about the possibility and feasibility, the ministry is to provide PNG to the crematoriums too.
