Bargarh, Aug 09 (ANI): The flood situation in Odisha remained grim as several rivers continued to flow above the danger mark due to incessant rainfall. Head of a village Panchayat Sudhir Pradhan said that the government does not take any concrete steps and they have to face this situation time and again. More than 35 people have died in Odisha since rivers burst their banks, inundating villages and farmland and forcing around 60,000 people to seek refuge in relief camps. Meanwhile, a flood victim, Manorama, said that due to the rising water in their area, they had to rush to a safer place.
