Sambalpur, Aug 08 (ANI): Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, took stock of flood situation in the state from a chopper as situation turned grim. He visited flood-hit areas and directed special relief commissioner to facilitate relief work in affected villages. The flood situation in Odisha turned grim as several rivers continued to flow above the danger mark due to incessant rainfall. The government has intensified evacuation measures as people living in the low-lying areas are the worst affected.
