At least 43 people were injured after a tourist bus from West Bengal overturned in Dhauli, located 8 kms south of Bhubaneswar in Odisha, on Tuesday. Six passengers have been critically injured in the accident.

The mishap happened when the bus, which was carrying 65 passengers from Bengal's Midnapore area, lost balance and overturned in the Dhauli hills area. 

The police and the fire brigade rushed to the spot, following which rescue and relief operations were carried out. There were no reports of any casualties.

The injured were rushed to the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, after which 13 of them were referred to the SCB Medical College in Cuttack, a source from Capital Hospital told International Business Times India. Nine people are still undergoing treatment at the hospital, while the rest were discharged after receiving medical aid.

The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.

In another incident, at least 19 people were injured after a truck rammed into a bus in the Delhi Cantonment area on Tuesday. The bus was returning from a wedding celebration in Mayapuri in Delhi. The injured were rushed to a hospital for medical aid.
