Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava (Ankita Karan Patel), who got married in May last year, have finally managed to take some time off from their hectic schedule for their long-delayed honeymoon. The couple will soon fly down to London, which is Karan's favourite city.

According to reports, Karan has already shot a major portion of his show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein". His absence will not hamper the show. "Yes. Finally, it's time for our long overdue honeymoon, a year after marriage! But it's worth the wait. More than me, Karan is excited to take me to a place that he loves the most. He has already planned our POA for most of the days," Ankita told India Forums.

While London was Karan's plan, Ankita spoke about her dream destination as well. "Well, I wanted to do Europe as that has been on my mind even before I got married. But doing Europe needs minimum three weeks time and considering our busy schedules, that would not be possible. And London is Karan's favourite place and he just loves that city," she said.

Recently, Karan's "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" co-star Divyanka Tripathi went on a short break from the shoot for her grand wedding in Bhopal and Chandigarh. While fans of newly-wedded couple Divyanka and Vivek Dahiya were eager to know about their honeymoon destination, the news of Karan and Ankita's honeymoon trip will surely surprise the show's fans.

Last year, Karan and Ankita's wedding reports sparked a controversy. The actor was said to be in a serious relationship with Kamya Punjabi before meeting Ankita. Since then, rumours of trouble in Karan and Ankita's married life have been doing the rounds. However, with the news of the couple heading for their much-delayed honeymoon, it appears like all is well in the couple's paradise.
