New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his first Lok Sabha speech on Wednesday stressed upon the promotion of north-eastern states, especially Sikkim, in terms of organic productivity. Modi stated that north-east can play an important role in world organic market by manufacturing organic products. He also added that just like soil health cards are given to farmers in Gujarat, they can be given to farmers all over the nation so that they know their soil well and do not make any extra expenses. Modi also said that technology should be implemented in agriculture and research should be done on pulses.
