Nokia Lumia 1520 Mini Snapshots Leak, Tipped to Debut in April

Earlier this month, rumours of Nokia working on the compact version of its flagship Lumia 1520 phablet hit the headlines. Now, more evidence of its existence has surfaced online with the leak of snapshots.

Chinese technology blog Wpbar has released images purported to be of Lumia 1520 Viisi, aka Lumia 1520 Mini, paired with its bigger sibling. Another site going by the name MiLeaks too posted an image of the same handset with an Apple iPhone shedding light on its size. [To view to snapshots, click here]

Lumia 1520 Mini reportedly sports a 4.45-inch WXGA (1280x768p) screen with enough space to accommodate three tile columns. It runs on the updated Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

In terms of hardware, it is said to house a 14.0-megapixel camera (probably with PureView technology) and pack Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 series CPU backed by 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and a 2370 mAh battery.

If sources of Phone Arena are to be believed, Nokia is expected to release the new Lumia 1520 Mini around April.
