HMD Global has finally released the much-hyped Nokia 3 smartphone in India, more than two months after it was announced. The entry-level handset comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,499, which means it will have to compete with other sub-Rs 10,000 smartphones, particularly Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Moto G4 Play in the Indian market.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 2GB RAM+32GB ROM variant and Moto G4 Play at Rs 7,999, so it is obvious that the newly-launched Nokia 3 will have to take on them.
