UK's popular retailer Clove was supposed to make HMD Global's much-hyped handsets, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310, in June and had already started taking pre-orders. But it has now been abruptly stopped, giving rise to doubts if they will come as scheduled.

Clove has stopped taking pre-orders of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310, and resumed pre-registration instead, which means prospective buyers will only get launch alert from the carrier. NokiaPowerUser has reported citing the Clove sales team that the pre-orders attracted very high demand but they were forced to stop it as it was too early.

So will the handsets be made available on Clove as scheduled? The answer is more on the affirmative side as Clove sales team has said that the pre-orders for the handsets would resume soon.

"We understand your concerns about the pre-order option having been removed from our website. Demand has been very high, but please check back in a few days and you will be able to pre-order again," Clove UK emailed to customers.

Nokia 3310 come to the UK on May 24 for £49.99 but may take some time to reach all the major carriers.
