Nokia's dominance in the Indian mobile market seems to have fizzled out with the emergence of Indian handset makers like Karbonn, Videocon, Micromax and other small time companies.

However, record sales of mid-range handset Asha series as well as higher-end Lumia series is encouraging news to Nokia to make for a stronger come back in to the global and Indian mobile market.
