New Delhi, Sept 24 (ANI): Senior finance ministry official, Arvind Mayaram said on Monday that India has no plan to offer a special window to lend funds at lower interest rates to companies in some sectors.The finance ministry and the central bank were considering a selective stimulus plan that involved a debt-buying programme for eligible companies. Mayaram said that the banks in India have not yet developed the capability of appraising projects for a long duration. Mayaram also said that the government or the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) does not target any rate.
