Season 3 of "Girl Meets World" has addressed many of the issues that fans had with the previous season, especially the love triangle between Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lucas (Peyton Meyer). Now, however, the Disney Channel show is going on a short break before airing the wedding of Shawn (Rider Strong) and Katy (Cheryl Texiera).
The show is expected to air the upcoming Season 3 episode 10 titled "Girl Meets I Do" on next Friday, Aug. 12, and not as per schedule on the coming Friday. However, the episode is pegged to be worth the wait, considering it will bring back some of the beloved characters from the 90s show "Boy Meets World."

It is understood that the unforgettable Mr Feeny (William Daniels) will not only make an appearance for Shawn and Katy's wedding, but will also officiate it. The other people from "Boy Meets World" that RSVPed yes to the wedding are Mr Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn), Eric (Will Friedle), Mr and Mrs Matthews (William Russ and Betsy Randle), Minkus (Lee Norris), Harley (Danny McNulty) and both the Morgans. Yes, you read it right, both Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway are expected to appear at the wedding. It will be interesting to see how the "GMW" writers work that into the show.
Meanwhile, Maya will be seen having some difficulties trying to grasp the idea of her mother marrying Shawn. It also seems like she will force Shawn to prove his intentions with her mother before giving her blessings to the couple.
