"Grey's Anatomy" is taking a short break before airing the sixth episode of season 12.

There will not be a new episode of the medical drama this Thursday, and a fresh episode will be aired only on 5 November.

Episode 6 is entitled "The Me Nobody Knows", and it will see Meredith confronting Callie about dating a doctor who was indirectly responsible for Derek's death. Viewers might also see Amelia and Meredith trying to work out their issues. However, they will face a hurdle when Meredith advises her sister-in-law to be mature about her reaction to Penny.

A sneak peek of "The Me Nobody Knows" shows Penny being assigned to Meredith's service and the widow is trying to be mature about the situation. But when Amelia finds out, she is furious.

"I am trying to rise above and you should too," Meredith tells Amelia, trying to explain why she let Penny on her service. But Amelia is in no mood to listen to Meredith's justifications.

"You should have ended it that night," she retorts, implying that Meredith should have forced Penny to relocate to another hospital.

Things aren't going to be easy for Penny at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. While some doctors are going to be sympathetic, others will find it difficult to tolerate her because Derek was a much-loved surgeon.

The official synopsis of the episode doesn't reveal much regarding the relationships that are on shaky ground at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

The summary reads:

Grey Sloan Memorial not only welcomes a new transfer resident (Penny Blake), but also a patient (a pastor) who's the topic of conversation after accidentally sending his sex tape to his entire congregation. Meanwhile, Richard wrestles with how to progress his relationship with Maggie when an old friend visits the hospital, and April brings in a case of a young boy from the Middle East.

"Grey's Anatomy" is aired Thursdays on ABC.
