Team Arrow may be fighting the Big Bad Damian Darhk (Neal McDonough), but they are making time to help their friends from Central City in the upcoming Season 4 Episode 8. "Legends of Yesterday" will not be aired as per schedule on Wednesday, 25 November, but will premiere on The CW a week later, on 2 December.
The episode will act as part to the Season 2 Episode of "The Flash", titled "Legends of Today". Both are backdoor episodes to the upcoming series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", which will premiere in January 2016. The vigilante teams of the sister cities are uniting to fight the immortal villain Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
We will also finally see Kendra (Ciara Renée) in all her winged glory as Hawkgirl, as it is finally revealed to her that she is an ancient warrior who has been reincarnated repeatedly over centuries. Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) also makes his entrance as the Egyptian prince who is fated to reincarnate with his soulmate Kendra.
He has definitely gotten sour over the centuries, and is quick to believe that the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), The Flash (Grant Gustin) and their friends will not be able to stop Vandal Savage. The heroes and their respective teams, however, are very optimistic about their chances. And although they have the downfall of quite a few villains to their credit, Vandal Savage may be a little above their calibre.
As explained by the time traveller Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), the duty of thwarting Vandal Savage's plan in various time periods has been allocated to the "Legends of Tomorrow" and not the "Heroes" of DC. The said legends include Firestorm (Victor Garber/Franz Drameh), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell, Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Hawkgirl from "The Flash", and The Atom (Brandon Routh) and White Canary (Caity Lotz) from "Arrow", along with Hawkman, who will debut in The Flash-Arrow crossover episode.
Watch out for the Season 4 Episode 8 of "Arrow" on Wednesday, 2 December, but ahead of that, do not forget to check back here for more updates, spoilers and live streaming information regarding "Legends of Yesterday".
