It has been only two episodes of ABC's superhero series Agents of SHIELD season 4 and it seems that one of the prominent characters is going to have a tough time ahead.

In the first episode of season 4 titled The Ghost, agent Melinda May (portrayed by Ming-Na Wen) was confronted by a ghostly woman who started torturing her mentally. In the second episode titled Meet the New Boss, the ghost woman drove her to near madness.

The preview of the next episode titled Uprising suggests that Melinda is still unable to recover from the trauma as both Jemma Simmons (portrayed by Elizabeth Henstridge) and Dr Holden Radcliffe (portrayed by John HannaH0 try their best to save her life amidst the sudden global blackout.

However, this won't be the only problem SHIELD will face when the series return in next week on October 11. A radical group has surfaced who wants to ruin the Inhuman Registrations that has been supervised by Phil Coulson (portrayed by Clark Gregg), Leo Fitz (portrayed by Ian De Caestecker), and Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie (portrayed by Henry Simmons).

Besides it, the new director of SHIELD, Jeffrey Mace (portrayed by Jason O'Mara) was revealed to be an Inhuman in the previous episode as he was seen putting a rampaging SHIELD agent down without much effort. Several speculations suggest that the new director might be another Marvel comic book superhero named the Patriot.

Another highlight of episode 2 was when Robbie Reyes, aka, Ghost Rider (portrayed by Gabriel Luna), confessed to Daisy Johnson (portrayed by Chloe Bennet) about his true identity after Daisy had been chasing him for days.

Agents of SHIELD season 4 episode 3 will return on October 11 on ABC.
