Did you notice Nivin Pauly's new buzz cut look? Is it for Moothon movie?

Moothon narrates the story of a young boy, Mulla, who searches for his older brother Akbar, and he comes across all the other characters during his journey. And the filmmaker has said that the young boy, who plays as Mulla will be a pleasant surprise for the audience. The movie also stars Alencier Ley Lopez, Soubin Shahir, Sujith Shankar, and debutant Melissa Thomas in pivotal roles.

"Nivin's character doesn't have a name per se. He plays one of those interesting characters that you come across in the downtrodden, decadent parts of Mumbai, such as the red light district of Kamathipura, where we shot extensively," the director comments on Nivin's role as per TOI report.

Other than directing the movie, Geetu penned the script, too, while Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has written the Hindi dialogues. National Award winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi cranks the camera for the movie, which is expected to hit the screens only in 2018. The team of Moothon has wrapped up the Mumbai leg, and the next schedule will start in September or October in Lakshadweep.
