Actor Nithiin's Telugu film "Heart Attack" is heading for a big clash with Mahesh Babu's "One-Nenokkadaine" and Allu Arjun's "Race Gurram."

Nithiin has confirmed on the micro-blogging site Twitter that his upcoming film with Puri Jagannath will hit the screens during Sankranti in January 2014.

Mahesh's "One" reportedly releases on 10 January, which is around Sankranti festival period. Apart from this biggie, there is one more film releasing during the festival time. According to reports, "Allu Arjun's "Race Gurram" is expected to arrive in theatres on 14 January. Now, Niithin has confirmed his film's release in January, though an exact released date has not been announced.

Sankranti can easily accommodate two films. However, a third film joining the race could result in minimum number of screens for each of these films. It has to be seen if all three films will make it to theatres during the festival or any one of them will back out. Whatsoever, the January festival period will be a big treat for Telugu film fans.

"One-Nenokkadaine"

"One", directed by Sukumar, is deemed as a psychological thriller. The film will have debutant Kriti Sanon playing the female lead and other cast members include Kelly Dorji, Nassar, Pradeep Rawat and Sayaji Shinde.

This is not the first time that Mahesh's film is clashing with other biggies. Earlier, the actor's "Bussinessman" and "Seethama Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" ("SVSC") have battled it out with other big hero films. Sankranti has proved lucky for Mahesh Babu, whose films have done great business despite facing strong competition from other releases. With the release of "One", the actor will be hoping to add another hit to his booming career.

"Race Gurram"

Allu Arjun's "Race Gurram" is touted to be a full-fledged family entertainer. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead opposite Allu Arjun.

The film's shooting has progressed at a brisk pace and a new schedule commenced from 5 October in Hyderabad. Allu Arjun's last release "Iddarammayilatho" did not live up to the expectations of the audience. However, "Race Gurram" is expected to become another hit flick in the actor's career.

"Heart Attack"

Nithiin is on a roll post the success of his last two releases "Ishq" and "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde."

The actor will be hoping to continue his success streak with "Heart Attack", an emotional love story, and the other film titled "Courier Boy Kalyan."
