In a bid to encash in on the festive season, Nissan India has launched a new special variant of Evalia MPV in the country with a price tag of ₹11.62 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi.

Nissan Evalia Special variant is based on the car's current top-end XV (O) and comes to the market with a reworked front fascia. The redesigned front bumper gives the car a sporty look and it gets a new foglight with chrome finish. There is also 10-spoke alloy wheels and a rear spoiler on board.

Mechanically, there isn't much changes and the features inside the cabin also remain the same. Under the hood, the MPV retains the same 1.5 litre, four cylinders, K9K engine, which can generate a power of 85 bhp and a peak torque of 200 Nm mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, with ARAI certified mileage of 19.3 kilometres per litre.

The new Evalia model is positioned above the Evalia XV (O) and it also features second and third row AC vents, 2-DIN music system, reverse camera and rear wiper and defogger. Evalia comes with safety features like Air bag, Electronic Brake-force Distribution system (EBD) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

Recently, Nissan launched the anniversary edition of its Terrano SUV in India with a price tag of ₹12.83 lakh. It comes in two diesel variants- XV D THP and XVD THP Premium. It includes features like head-up display system 'Anniversary Edition' badge, sporty decals, chrome-finished door handles, tail entry and roof-lip spoiler.

In addition to this, the Terrano XV D THP gets reverse-parking sensor, rear AC with controls, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob and driver-seat height adjustment.
