Nintendo has announced that it will be holding a Nintendo Direct session on 1 April, 2015 and it is not an April Fools' Day joke.

The event will be broadcast at 3 PM PT/ 6 PM ET and will include some of the latest and upcoming games on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo has also asked viewers to stay for the live Nintendo Treehouse presentation after the Nintendo Direct presentation. The presentation will be featuring one of their spring releases, it said.

Many were skeptical about the date of the Nintendo Direct presentation, but rumours were already out that there will be one such presentation.

Reddit user DerpyPanda24 has some leaked information from an anonymous Nintendo source from Europe.

Some of the leaked titles include 'Pokemon Rumble World,' which is reportedly coming on 17 April on eShop for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Apart from this, Nintendo Direct is likely to announce the introduction of Web eShop that will also enable players to login by using NNID. This will allow owners to download the game as soon as they purchase it. This service is reported to start in April. eShop is also likely to get a preorder function, which will allow them to pre order a game well in advance and a 10% discount incentive.

Other games that have been leaked include Kirby & The Rainbow Brush, Splatoon and Code Name: STEAM.

Since Zelda title's development is still progressing, it is likely to be showcased at E3 2015. By June, Nintendo is reportedly debuting 64 games.
