The Indian football team continued their impressive winning run over Nepal in recent years, as Sandesh Jhingan and Jeje Lalpekhlua guided Stephen Constantine's army to a 2-0 win in Mumbai on Tuesday, June 7.

Everything went good, but the jersey that the Blue Tigers were sporting didn't really please the eyes of fans.

BREAKING: The new jersey is now available online and offline!

The blue colour may have made the jersey look classy, but the absence of any stripes or pattern also lends it a jaded appearance. It is absolutely plain and simple, and almost looks like an ordinary sky blue tee.

A slight difference is made by the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) logo on the right and the Nike logo on the left.

Where can you buy the jersey?

Unlike the Indian cricket team jersey, which the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ensures is made available across Nike stores in the country, the AIFF has never quite made an attempt to make the Indian football team jersey available on a large scale.

The Indian football governing body does organise quiz competitions on Twitter at times, with the winner getting a signed jersey. But that's about it.

Clubs like Bengaluru FC and Shillong Lajong FC have a dedicated online fan store. But the AIFF has not started one yet, perhaps due to the limited production of the jerseys owing to not having a major contract with Nike.
