The trailer of Tamil film "Night Show", starring "Baahubali" actor Sathyaraj in the lead, was released on Monday, 27 July.

The film, which is a remake of Joy Mathew's Malayalam film "Shutter" (2012), is directed by Anthony, who will also be handling editing and screenplay. The dialogues are written by Yuhi Sethu.

Malayalam actress Anumol will play the lead opposite Sathyaraj. Debutant actor Varun, who is the grandson of actor Isari Velan, will also play a pivotal role in the film.

The cinematography is handled by MS Prabhu. The lyrics are penned by Na Muthukumar while the music is composed by Navin.

The Malayalam version was written and directed by Joy Mathew. Set in Kozhikode, the film had Lal, Sreenivasan, Vinay Forrt and Sajitha Madathil in the lead roles.

Like the original version, "Night Show" also revolves around unexpected incidents in the life of a middle-class man. The film goes through a gripping account of how he gets trapped along with a prostitute in an empty shop in front of his house and how it transforms the duo's lives forever.

The film also has interwoven the parallel stories of a struggling film director and an innocent auto-rickshaw driver.

"Night Show", which is produced by AL Alagappan and Sam Paul, is also being remade in Marathi.
