BSE Sensex Closes on a Good Note; Jumps 510 Points

The BSE Sensex closed 3.36 percent higher on Wednesday, ending its 5-day losing streak, bolstered by bargain buying and firm global markets.

The 50-share NSE index rose 3.28 percent to 4,693.15.
