Newlywed Shahid Kapoor Receives Special Gift from Ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan

Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor married Delhi based Mira Rajput in a private ceremony on 7 July, followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on 12 July.

While the wedding was attended only by family and close friends, the reception in Mumbai saw the presence of some of Bollywood's bigwigs including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor among others.

Interestingly, none of Shahid ex-girlfriends attended the lavish party, including Kareena Kapoor Khan. The "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actress had earlier mentioned that if invited, she would definitely attend the wedding.

It has now been revealed that while Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan chose to give Shahid's wedding a miss, the couple made sure to send across their greetings to the newlyweds in the form of a gift, reported Bollywood Life.

While, it is not known what the gift is, apparently, Shahid and Mira are touched by their special gesture.

Rumoured ex-girlfriends and actresses Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan too gave the reception a miss. 

Meanwhile, the "Udta Punjab" actor, who made a small screen debut as judge of celebrity dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8", has been garnering overwhelming response from viewers.
