The newly-wed celebrity couple Ram Charan Teja and wife Upasana Kamineni are enjoying a mini, yet quiet honeymoon in ecclesiastical Vatican City.

The couple flew off for a three-day trip to Italy on Monday after visiting Upasana's grandfather's native place Aragonda in Andhra Pradesh and offering prayers at Tirupathi Balaji temple on June 16."Three days ago in Tirupathi and now in Vatican City, St Peter's Church. Thank you God," the elated actor tweeted along with a picture of the beautiful architecture of the church.

"It's very quiet here. The only entertainment we have is horse riding, wine-tasting in vineyards and trekking in the amazing ranch. Upasana and I are in a state of bliss," Rediff quoted the actor as telling from Italy.

Though the pair had decided to keep their honeymoon trip subtle and short, somewhere at a very peaceful place away from traffic and shopping in the country itself, it seems they changed their mood at the end moment.

"Takin off for 3days on a holiday wit upasna after hectic 10days... hope to be back for shoot relaxed and refreshed," Teja tweeted on Monday.

The pair tied the knot in two fairy tale wedding ceremonies on June 14 and 15, followed by a grand reception. They married twice - one for the family and the other for friends and fans.

Their wedding was the most talked-about and the biggest wedding of the year. Several Bollywood bigwigs, politicians and socialites graced the lavish ceremony on both the days.

From legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Prabhu Deva, to actress Tabu, filmmaker Boney Kapoor, wife Sridevi, South Indian actors Venkatesh, Mohan Babu and Ambreesh graced the big fat wedding of Telugu actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi's son.

The newly-married actor will return from Italy on June 22 with wife and resume his shooting schedules. He is currently awaiting his Bollywood debut with the remake of "Zanjeer."
