Just a few days ago, Xiaomi vice-president Hugo Barra announced that the flagship smartphone Mi5 will, for the first time in the company's history, be showcased at the upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016, Barcelona. Now, Barra has teased the Mi5's display on social media platforms for fans to guess the features of the device.

In the image, we were able to find two features -- one NFC (Near Field Communication), its activated icon is visible at the status bar on top. And on the same location, we also see two signal bars indicating the presence of dual SIM -- One normal 4G-LTE and another 1x CDMA (China based carrier).

Some blogs were able to decipher the resolution of the device to be full HD (1920x1080p). We are not sure how they calculated the pixel density of the screen by looking at the image, but it is in line with previous reports that indicated Xiaomi may launch two variants -- one with full HD screen and another with QHD (2560x1440p), which is the current norm among flagship phones.

Expected features of Xiaomi Mi5:

As said before, 5.2-inch Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to come in two variants. The key difference between the QHD display (2560x1440p) and full HD display models is that the former will boast 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt memory, whereas the latter is expected to feature 3GB RAM and 32GB storage capacity.

The rest of the specifications are said to be the same in both the devices. They will house Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC (System-on-Chip), 16MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 13MP snapper on the front.

They are also expected to come packed with Android v5.1 Lollipop OS-based MIUI v7.0 OS backed by 3600 mAh battery and boast 4G-LTE network support, fingerprint sensor and LED light notification feature.
