As soon as Marvel and Sony announced that they would collaborate to bring Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), both studios came out with the official release date of the movie as 28 July, 2017.

However, in a recent rescheduling of movies like "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" and "Star Wars: Episode VIII", it has been confirmed that Spider-Man's release date has also been shifted. But unlike the two other movies, it has got an earlier release date.

The forthcoming Spidey film will hit the theatres on 7 July, 2017, now. Fox's "War of the Planet of the Apes" is scheduled to release the same weekend, and the two movies will surely give tough competition to each other.

This is not the first time Marvel has given one of its upcoming movies an early release date. Earlier, Marvel had shifted the release date of "Black Panther" from 6 July, 2018, to 16 February, 2018, after the addition of the "Spider-Man" movie was announced.

In other news, the possible costume of Spider-Man from "Captain America: Civil War" has been leaked online.

The news came after a Twitter user shared an image of a Spider-Man hoodie claiming it resembles the costume Spider-Man will wear in "Captain America: Civil War."

Afterwards, the hoodie's authenticity was confirmed by Merchoid, which is the official clothing manufacturer for the upcoming Marvel Studios film.

In the official description of the Spider-Man Premium Hoodie, Merchoid said Marvel had contacted them to design clothes based on Spider-Man's costume. However, they said Marvel didn't provide them with any image or reference of Spider-Man's costume.

Though Marvel has not said whether the hoodie is based on actual costume's design, it is a significant possibility, as the hoodie is supposed to belong from the Civil War line and the description provided by Marvel to Merchoid might be that of the costume Spidey will debut with in "Civil War."
