The folks at Gaadi.com have managed to capture the uncamouflaged images of the new Honda Jazz straight from a dealer showroom of the company, indicating that the company has started shipping the model to its dealers.

Honda's newest premium hatchback Jazz is expected to be launched on 8 July. Rumours mills have been churning news one after the other with regard to the new Jazz's design, price and most importantly, launch date, ever since the first news of its arrival into the Indian market. Now it looks like the new Honda Jazz is all set to hit Indian domestic market by July 2015.

Coming back to the Jazz, in the latest spy shots, the new Jazz was seen donned in Red body paints, showing off its front and side profiles in details. The spotted prototype of the new Jazz is the petrol CVT version with new alloy wheels.

From a visual stand point, the front fascia of the new Jazz gets bold grille with fine chrome touch and wide air dam. Inside the cabin, the new Jazz shares similarities with the company's City and gets silver and beige colour theme.

The new Honda Jazz will be offered in both petrol and diesel options in India. Under the hood, the petrol Jazz is likely to pack the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers Amaze and Brio that can generate power of 87bhp with a torque of 110Nm at 4,800rpm. On the other hand, the diesel Jazz is expected to pack 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor that can pump 100PS of power and 200Nm torque. This Jazz is the first model to include diesel mills.

In India, the new Honda Jazz will compete against the likes of Maruti Swift and Hyundai Elite i20, and is expected to carry a price tag in the range of ₹5 to ₹7.5 lakh.

Meanwhile, a report in The Economic Times says that Honda has started exporting the new Jazz from India to South Africa. The new Honda Jazz is being produced at the company's facility at Tapukara in Rajasthan.
