Bajaj Auto is all set to introduce its Pulsar new range in India and ahead of its launch, the Pune-based two-wheeler maker has kick-started a teaser campaign, indicating the imminent arrival of the new Pulsars.

The new Pulsar range is expected to include Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 200F. The new Pulsars have already made online debut through videos and spy shots and have also started arriving at the showrooms of the company. The updated Pulsar 150, 180 and 220F is expected to include BS-IV compliant engine.

New Pulsar 150

From what we have seen so far, the updated new Pulsar 150 includes new red body decals and red rims, and sports matte-finish headlamp bezel and clip-on handlebar. The new Pulsar 150 also features blue backlit instrument console. The Pulsar 150 will be powered by 149cc single cylinder, DTS-i engine, which can churn out 15bhp at 9,000rpm and 12.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm mated to five-speed gearbox. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar is expected to get a price tag similar to the current model in the market.

New Pulsar 180

Coming to the new Pulsar 180, it now has BS-IV compliant engine and comes with 230mm rear disc. The instrument cluster of the Pulsar 180 has also been tweaked a bit and now features blue black lit, replacing the previous orange and gets matte finish clip-on handlebars, instead of the glossy finish in the older version. The Pulsar 180 is likely draw power from the same 178.6cc air-cooled DTS-i engine, which can pump in 16bhp along with 14.22Nm of torque with five-speed gearbox.

New Pulsar 220F

The 2016 Pulsar 200F gets new body graphics, rim decals, new matte-grey finish exhaust with chrome highlighting and blue backlit instrument console light. Other features include softer seats and clip-on handlebars with matte finish. As far as the engine of the new Pulsar 200F is concerned, the bike continues to be powered by the same 4-stroke, DTS-i, oil cooled, single cylinder 220cc unit that generates 20bhp of power and 19.12Nm of torque and the good news is that the engine is now BS-IV compliant.
