Bollwyood's best are slowly and steadily making inroads into the international circuit. While Priyanka Chopra is on top of her game with her hit TV show "Quantico", her peers are not too far behind.

Sonam Kapoor has shot for a cameo in Coldplay's upcoming music video "Hymn for The Weekend", the British band's second single from seventh album "A Head Full of Dreams", reported Mumbai Mirror.

"I love Coldplay's music and so does the world. It was a huge honour to be a part of the video. It's a great concept and I had a lot of fun shooting for it," the actress told the leading daily. Sister Rhea Kapoor, who usually styles her, kept the look strictly traditional. "They zeroed in on a desi look with Sonam in a ghagra choli and wearing the traditional mang tika and a nose ring," a source informed.

Directed by Ben Mor, the "Neerja" actress filmed extensively at temples and forts across Mumbai. "Sonam shot for a day last October at the Golfa Devi Temple in Worli and the Vasai fort," added an insider. Shot last October, the video also stars Beyonce, who has also lent her voice to the track.

The Kapoor girl is not the only one making her presence felt worldwide. Deepika Padukone is working hard to get her role right in Vin Diesel's "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage". "She leaves for the shoot on February 2 and most of her portions will be filmed in Toronto and Los Angeles," the publication quoted fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala as saying.
