"NBA 2K16," 2K's popular basketball-simulation video game, has received a new roster update that brought changes in player ratings, as of March 12, reflecting the changes made in real life.

The roster update also adds new shoes to "NBA 2K16." It also has updated accessories and has brought changes to the team colours.

The roster update, as outlined by Operation Sports, has revealed athletes like Keven Durant, Damian Lillard, Paul George Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose are going up in the player ratings.

Some athletes like Stephen Curry, Greg Monroe, Kristaps Porzingis and Harrison Barnes are going down in the player ratings.

A new "Shooting update" has also been released for "NBA 2K16," making it easier for players to clutch three-pointers in the game. This is reflective of the real game, given that Stephen Curry has many three-pointers to his credit. 

This news was communicated by Mike Wang, gameplay Director of "NBA 2K16" in his Twitter post.

"Shooting update going out late tonight that should make it slightly easier to get greens on open shots, [sic]" he said in the post.
