The popular basketball simulation video game maker, NBA 2K, has honoured the LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant by getting him on the cover of the "NBA 2K17 Legend Edition." Bryant bows out of NBA, ending his 20-year career, as he retires on April 14.
NBA 2K announced that it will carry his basketball legacy, featuring him on the cover of the upcoming "NBA 2K17 Legend Edition." This new game is a special edition that highlights Bryant's career with special Kobe-themed memorabilia and digital content featuring his legacy.
"It's a great honour to partner with 2K on the NBA 2K17 Legend Edition," Bryant said in a statement. "As I walk off the NBA court for the final time, it's exciting to know my fans can continue to celebrate my lifelong career as a Los Angeles Laker."
This is the second time that Bryant is on the cover of a NBA 2K game.
The special edition, "NBA 2K17 Legend Edition," is said to feature the following items:

"NBA 2K17 Legend Edition" will be available on both digital and physical formats only on PS4 and Xbox One. The standard edition of "NBA 2K17" will, however, be available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in September 2016.
Meanwhile, on the current NBA 2K video game, "NBA 2K16," players could pick up Kobe XI Elite 4.13 shoes for free on MyPlayer. The game also featured an updated Staples Center, which was his last sendoff match.
