Telugu movie "Mayuri", which is the dubbed version of Nayanthara's (Nayantara) Tamil film "Maya", has impressed the Telugu audience and garnered positive reviews from them.
Written and directed by Ashwin Saravanan, "Mayuri" is a horror movie and has been produced by C Kalyan under the banner Potential Studios. Ron Ethan Yohaan has composed the music for the soundtracks and background score of the film, which has Sathyan Sooryan's cinematography and TS Suresh's editing.
"Mayuri" is based on a ring and it features Nayanthara in dual roles. The actress has appeared as a ghost and a woman with a child. She has delivered brilliant performances for both the roles and her acting is the main highlight of the film, say the audience. Aari, Amzath Khan, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli, Robo Shankar, Mime Gopi and Sharath are in the supporting cast.
The audiences, who have watched "Mayuri", say that the movie has an interesting script and engaging narration. All the actors have given superb performances and the film has got rich production values. Overall, it is a good horror film.
